Boring bio…

Sergio bought his first GoPro in May 2015, his first DSLR in October 2016, and has created photos and videos ever since!

Currently based in Miami, FL, Sergio was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1994. He grew up in rural North Carolina, where sports played a prominent role in his youth. From playing soccer, to skateboarding and riding dirt bikes, he always leaned in to the extreme. With extensive international travel to complement that, Sergio has developed a deep love for the discovery of new places, cultures, and people. If there’s a bit of adrenaline along the way, well that's preferred.

Veering away from the medical school path during his undergraduate studies in Biology and neuroscience at Haverford College, Sergio had the opportunity to live in Milan, Italy, and Cape Town, South Africa both of which had a tremendous impact on his worldview. His current focus is to capture the action, the landscapes, and the people that make this life worth living. Whether the medium is photography or video, Sergio is keen to use these outlets as a way to document inspiring experiences and share them with anyone curious enough to have a look. His central body of work surrounds action and adrenaline, exploration, and Earth’s natural beauty.

Adrenaline. Action. Adventure… those are all the things I seek. Whether I’m out on a job, or having fun in my free time, I want those three “A’s” to be part of it.

It’s no surprise then my interest in creating videos stems from Red Bull’s immense catalogue of boundary-bending projects which blend creativity, risk, and the limits of human capability. Thus, I too yearn to capture the highest levels of human performance.

Some of my career highlights include filming peak automotive engineering with clients like Automobili Lamborghini and Pagani Automobili, most recently at the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring.

I’ve also had the pleasure of capturing the greatest extent of human balance in a budding discipline of slackline called “freestyle highline”. This is a sport that I also practice and am absolutely STOKED on continuing to learn.
